Dr. Ginn Attends Conference in Aachen, Germany
Dr. Herbert Ginn, a faculty member in the University of South Carolina Electrical Engineering Department, traveled to RWTH University in Aachen Germany to attend the 3rd International Conference on electrical systems for aircraft, railway, ship propulsion and road vehicles (ESARS 2015). The aim of the conference is to create a forum where people involved with electric vehicle electrical systems problems may compare their experiences and present solutions to further the state-of-art. These systems are important for improving energy efficiency in transportation. Dr. Ginn was a member of the conference Scientific Committee and also arranged and chaired a special session on the challenges and benefits of MVDC shipboard distribution systems.
